🏆 GimmeG def. IdaGolf · 4&3 · Winners Round 1 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
GimmeG delivered one of the quieter blowouts you'll see in the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout, closing out IdaGolf 4&3 in Winners Round 1 at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Bald Mountain. After halving the first two holes, GimmeG ripped off five straight wins from hole 3 through hole 7 to seize control, and while IdaGolf answered on 8, the damage was already done. Just 14 percent of the 22 picks had GimmeG winning this one, making the wire to wire performance that much sweeter.
IdaGolf scrapped to the finish, trading holes down the stretch before the match ended on 15, but could never find the separation needed to flip momentum. GimmeG advances to Winners Round 2, while IdaGolf drops to the losers bracket and remains alive in the tournament.
