🏆 Taylorstour def. Eric Swanson · 19th hole · Round of 32 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
Taylorstour needed every extra inch of The Foundry Golf Club to put away gbburn, grinding out a 19th hole classic in the Round of 32 of the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout. The match was a back and forth affair all day, with twelve of the nineteen holes played ending in a halve, but Taylorstour struck first on the front nine and never trailed, going wire to wire despite gbburn clawing back with wins on 5, 12, and 17 to force extra golf.
With the match still level after eighteen, Taylorstour closed it out on the 19th hole to escape with the win. It was called in favor of Taylorstour by every single one of the 11 pick'em voters, and the chalk held up under pressure. Taylorstour now advances to the Round of 16, while gbburn drops to the losers bracket but remains alive in the tournament.
