🏆 gropper76 def. LeftyMurph · 1 up · Winners Round 2 · Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout
LeftyMurph came out firing in the Ubsey Golf Par 3 Shootout, taking two of the first two holes at The Foundry Golf Club to put Gropper in a 2 down hole before the match had barely started. But Gropper settled in, winning holes 4 and 5 to even things up, and the two traded blows the rest of the way through a back and forth battle full of halves. Gropper finally edged ahead late and held on, closing it out 1 up on the 18th after the finish saw one win and two halves over the final three holes.
It was a gutsy result for Gropper, who only 20 percent of the 15 pickers had picked to win. Gropper now moves on to Winners Round 3, while LeftyMurph drops to the losers bracket and is still alive in the tournament.
