GORILLAGOLF25 and TypsyGypsy built their cushion on the front nine, winning four holes to Scotty Sauce's two with three halved, then tightened the screws on the back by taking two more without dropping a single hole. A two hole run from 13 through 14 sealed the deal by the time the match closed out on hole 15. Just 24 percent of the 29 picks had Gorilla Gypsy pulling this one off, making the wire to wire performance even sweeter.
Scotty Sauce will have to regroup after the loss, but the tournament road continues as they drop to the losers bracket and remain alive. Gorilla Gypsy, meanwhile, punches their ticket to the Round of 16 riding all kinds of momentum.
