Gropper Upper needed just 13 holes to put away Joshnoit, closing it out 7&5 in a Round of 16 clash at Deer Track Golf Club. Joshnoit actually grabbed an early lead, going 1 up after the first hole, but Ubsey and Gropper answered right away and never let go. A six hole surge from hole 6 through hole 11 turned a tight match into a rout, and even though Joshnoit tried to steady things down the stretch, Gropper Upper closed with two wins and a halve over the final three holes to seal it.
The win sends Gropper Upper on to the Quarterfinal in the 2026 Fall Classic. Joshnoit, despite the lopsided finish, drops to the losers bracket and is still alive in the tournament, with a chance to keep their run going.
