The biggest story out of the 2026 Summer Jam this week came in the Losers Bracket Round 5, where JLew & The Tombots knocked off Big Dog Chris by a score of 3&2. Only 40 percent of the pick'em crowd saw that one coming, making it the week's clear upset, and the result sends Big Dog Chris home from the tournament for good.
They were not alone in exiting the bracket. The Basig CBs also punched their ticket forward, handling Lefty's Garbage Garage 4&3 in another Losers Bracket Round 5 match. Sixty percent of the field backed The Basig CBs going in, so that one landed closer to expectations, but it still closes the book on Lefty's Garbage Garage for this year's Summer Jam. Between the two results, the double elimination bracket lost two more teams this week, trimming the field as it heads toward its final rounds. With 22 teams having entered the 2026 Summer Jam overall, just 6 remain alive, and no champion has been crowned yet.
In the season long pick'em race, MDGolfs continues to lead the way with 155 points and a 12-8 record, staying ahead of The1TopDawg at 120 points and trplbgy at 100 points. The clubhouse stayed busy this week too, with 20 picks made across the slate.
Looking ahead, the Semifinal between Beezy McPickle and The Wright Snydes is set for Monday. Meanwhile, Grip N Bryzz and The Basig CBs will meet in Losers Bracket Round 6, with a time still to be determined.
