The biggest story of the week came out of the 2026 Summer Jam, where The Wright Snydes closed the book on The Basig CBs in the Grand Final reset, taking it 5&3 to claim the title. The pick'em crowd never saw it coming, with only 20 percent of the field backing The Wright Snydes going in, but they made it look comfortable on the scorecard. The result also ends The Basig CBs season, the lone elimination out of the Summer Jam field this week.
Over at the 2026 Fall Classic, the bracket kept grinding with eight results on the ledger and two teams sent packing. Adam's Gamble pulled the week's sharpest upset, beating Yeti Daddy 2 up despite just 25 percent of pickers giving them a chance, and Singing Sticks handled Flight BBQ 3&2 as another team the clubhouse doubted. Not everything went to the underdogs, though. Yaks and Whiskey were heavy favorites at 83 percent and still needed a 20th hole to get past Ebel Haven, a reminder that chalk still has to play the round.
The Round of 16 delivered its share of nerves too, with Tom Danger outlasting Taylor Bagged on the 19th hole in a match picked close to a coin flip, and Barber's Ida edging Tom Snydeboom the same way. Beez Dawg and Gropper Upper both moved on more comfortably. Across the whole tournament, 29 of 32 teams remain alive.
In the season long pick'em race, MDGolfs sits on top with 285 points and a 23-22 record, just ahead of Tomatt2 at 280 and trplbgy at 275, with 188 picks logged around the league this week.
Looking ahead, the Fall Classic rolls on with Mattjak Attack facing Rush Hour on Tuesday and Yaks and Whiskey meeting Gorilla Gypsy on Wednesday, while Rob's Caddy versus Mart's Hybrid, Gropper Upper versus Stalc Chubs, and a run of Losers Bracket Round 1 matchups including Bible Thumpers versus Bobo's Putt and Ebel Haven versus Scotty Sauce are still finding a time.
